The boys have been living in American for three years. Three years in the process of living in America one of the boys who had been living with Daniel was missing. But the police eventually found him. When they did he was mentally unstable and had to go to a psychiatric ward. The fourth of July came around and the boys did not like it at all. All the noise reminded them of the war in Sudan that they tried to flee from. John Bul Dau set up a walk to make awareness to others that there was a war in Sudan. He also set up a Lost Boys reunion in Michigan to come up with a strategy to better their future. After three years of living in America, the boys are faced with paying bills and gassing up their car. But the good thing is that they all have degrees. John was able to see his mother after not seeing her for seventeen years. She was so happy, she was screaming in the airport and then she dropped on the ground and cried. She walked through the airport making loud noises. Pather wants to go back to Africa and marry his girlfriend and build a school in Africa for the children. He also has his Associates degree, his Bachelors degree and his High school diploma. John Bul works in a medical clinic and he supports his family as much as he can and hopes one day to bring them all to the United States. He has also formed a foundation to help the people in Sudan. He also has his Bachelors degree like Pather. Daniel has not yet found his family but hopes to one day. He works in the corps right now. This movie brings awareness of the boys situation and how they were able to be successful through all the hard ships.
Hope is never lost.
