Did you know that each county in each state has a different name for soda? The reason being is because many people migrate into the county. The definition for culture is: The different parts of a group. In the culture, the different people teach each other many different things. Some characteristics can also link or divide a region. Language is a big part of cultures. It is a means of communication and is used for education and jobs. People should really start teaching languages when children are young so they become receipted to it. People in the United States have problems with having things written in different languages. Like on an exit sign there might be Spanish and English written on it. They think it is a waste of money. They do not want their tax money going to things like that. They also get mad when they call a company and it is an automated voice and it says press one for English, press two for Spanish. Speaking in different languages can be a means of communication for people who do not speak the native language.
