We continued watching the film in class today. People in China get payed about 1/10th of what people in America got payed at the Briggs factory. Apple products were made and designed by people in China or America. If someone bought an Apple product in America, the Apple company would be making a profit of about eighty dollars. But the people in China make a profit of four dollars. China is known for making most of the stuff that we have here in America. Walmart makes more of a profit than the people in China in who actually make the goods. The people in China are getting paid about twenty dollars a week to make all the good that we have here. People in America are getting paid about twenty dollars an hour to do the most tedious jobs.
