Today we had the class that never ends. We reviewed all of the countries and talked about them more in depth.
Afghanistan- It is a British Empire. Afghanistan is not a really developed country. But they are the hardest country to invade, only the Native Americans know a way to get in.
Brazil- Brazil is a Portuguese empire before they were declared Independence. They have a very old government but a very stable government. They were colonized by an European nation.
France- The tribes in France were fighting over control of France for a long time. They have the strongest economy in Europe.
Germany- In 1875 they became one country. Germany was the center of the Holy Roman Empire at one point. After World War 2 the Allies controlled Germany for some time. They built a wall through the capital (Berlin) and that divided Germany into East and West Germany.
India- India got Independence from the United Kingdom. They are Part of the British Empire.
Iran- They were know as Persia at one time. Someone in the Islamic Republic drove the Iranians out of the country during the night.
Mexico- Mexico is known as New Spain which was controlled by Spain. They declared Independence in 1824 not 1810
Saudi Arabia- Saudi Arabia was known as a Kingdom, which gave the king the right to have as many wives and kids.
United Kingdom- The United Kingdom had two treaties and the last one was in 1922. The United Kingdom is part of the British Empire. There are four countries that are part of the United Kingdom, which are Whales, Scotland, Great Britain, and Ireland.
